St Teresa’s choir, Clarendon st, visit Malta and Gozo
Hi Everyone. Just another little update on my little wanderings around the universe. I sing with a really beautiful choir of professional singers and musicians who sing in St Teresa’s church in Clarendon st, Dublin. It is such a gift for me to sing there as the music is so exquisite and all those I sing with are so lovely and are all brilliant musicians and artists.
We recently were gifted with the opportunity to travel to Malta to sing at a recital in St George’s Bassilica in Gozo and in St John’s Bassilica in Malta. While we were in a Gozo, we also were invited to sing on local radio at an afternoon service that took place there. We performed Faith, Hope and Love, composed by our director of music, Ronan McDonagh, and conducted by our conductor, Grainne Gormley, with the verses sung, by yours truly.
I was also very blessed to be able to feature as soloist in Corelli’s Ave Verum that evening in St George’s.
Since then, it appears there may be more music related visits in September or October of this year as I have been invited back to feature as a soloist for the 150th anniversary of the diocese of Gozo. More updates to follow.
